Happy Birthday to Shigeru Miyamoto! Still, I do think that Gunpei Yokoi deserves more credit to the industry than Miyamoto.

No better way to celebrate his birthday than with Super Mario 3D Land. That game has been one of the best experiences of the year for me. It's a shame, I'm already on World 7 and feel like there should be more.
The only way they could improve on Super Mario 3D Land is if they went back to Super Mario World's map system, where certain levels had secret endings that created shortcuts, revealed secret levels and other such things. Then it would truly be my favorite Mario game since Super Mario World.
