Maybe it's just a coincidence with the movies coming out, but I feel like Bob is becoming more and more cynical and negative when it comes to movies. It feels like a lot of his past reviews were for movies he downright hated or thought were bad, or movies that are good, BUT… I dunno, I'm not a particularly picky guy, and I'll debate why the new Batman movie was better than the one before it for several reasons, but that's the vibe I've been getting lately
The spouse and I managed to be subjected to the trailer several times, and our reaction was uniformly “Nooo, Moss, don't be in crap!” It might have hurt less if Ayoade wasn't clearly doing a Moss-esque character there . . .
Ah, man! I had never heard of this movie before just now, but when I saw the title I was really hoping that it was a movie telling the story of the uncomfortable hunk of metal that Christopher Walken shoved up his ass in a P.O.W. camp. THAT would have been an interesting movie. Someone get Tarantino on the phone.
Re: Intermission, the television news kept saying “Day X of Gotham blah-de-blah”, but it was pretty much the only hint to the passage of time.

You left out 'The Mighty Boosh'.

Okay, he wasn't a principle character but he was great in it.
Bad form, man. Bad form.

That would imply that “The Mighty Boosh” was good. To this, I say nay.

Good to see the Boosh is as divisive as ever. 🙂
Can't fault Ayoade's performance though.
If you'd said 'Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy' was crap I would have wholeheartedly agreed.
