It almost boggles the mind. Surely any form of market testing or asking the target audience (girls) about Venus would have revealed problems with this, right?
I’m pretty sure there WAS a better version of her already. I believe her name is Ninjara, and she is a fox-person introduced in the Archie Comics version of the TMNT. She started off as an antagonist to the four, but soon became an ally, and then dated Raphael for a long portion of the comic’s run.
