Nice to see you managed to calm down after your (spot on) Transformers review! I was just wondering if you've managed to see Moon, and if so what your thoughts on it are. I went to see it last week and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Um 2008 best year for movie geeks in a long time? Seriously? Hate to be a wet blanket but 2007 was probably the best damn year for a movie fan to come along in a long time. I mean Jesus Christ just take a look at what was released year. granted it didn't have a lot of superhero offerings but the list is so varied; westerns, comedy, action comedy, steamy pot-boiled southern sex dramas etc. Or to put it in other terms if I had to pick between the year where the best movie is The Dark Knight or the year where the best movie is There Will Be Blood…well not much of a contest is it?

I'm surprised that no one made mention to this movie's awesome movie star foreshadowing. What do I mean? I'm talking about the possibility of Bale and Depp together in the next Batman film as Batman and the Riddler, respectively. If they pulled off any chemistry in this film, imagine how the next Batman film would be.
