“Intermission” this week is about “Avatar” and the political stuff it’s managed to stir up:

The imaginarium of doctor parnassus maybe?
Yes I was again expecting that one.

wow and surprisingly it won't take six months before we can see it in my country, only 20 days from now. Nice….looking forward to this movie and btw, awesome review

Nice review. And I had the same reaction to the buffy thing. Incidentally, the comics are pretty awesome. Especially nwo that they've become joss whedon's own personal “fuck you” to stepahine meyer.
The main villain is named twilight (this is actually coincidental) and is trying to make vampires fashionable while making those who fight them look like the real monsters. Its pretty awesome.

Now lets hope The wolfman make the same good for the werewolves, as this movie did for the vampires

While I liked the film and saw it (more or less on your recommendation) the playing of the “jump-out-scare” card got me the first couple of times and was darned annoying the next couple. I'll admit to being a jump person (even normally), but that element was overplayed, in my opinion.
I did like the twist cure and its implications. Sam Neill really sold the vision of terror and “I'm screwed” at the end.
