About the comments…

Okay, so, along with the new formats (still playing with it, content will remain the same) I’ve decided to go and switch OFF the ability for people to leave Anonymous comments. Didn’t want to, still don’t feel great about it, but it’s the best solution I’ve got right now. The fact is I don’t employ a webmaster to police this stuff, and I have to assume that requiring people to at least IDENTIFY themselves might cut down on some of the trolling.

And to be clear, I mean trolling of OTHER commenters. Say whatever the hell you want about me, fine. Bring it. But I won’t tolerate people anonymously-attacking fellow commenters. Period.

I'm glad you did this, Bob. That way, if someone decides to give you shit, you can know who they are, and you fling the mud right back at 'em.

I hate people who think that just cos it's the internet, it's a justifiable excuse to be an asshole to someone they barely know and who, God forbid, provides a different viewpoint to how they perceive the world. I've encountered my share of them, and they are the most insecure little fuckers on the planet.

Hey Bob. I wanted to know your thoughts on this whole fiasco concerning Doug Walker (The Nostalgia Critic) and the movie, “The Room”. Apparently, he was forced to take down his video review of the movie, along with others (Obscure Lupa and the RiffTrax trio), after receiving legal threats from Wiseau's studio. However, all 3 parties are protected under the “fair use” statute. I think it was the respective video providers that buckled under the pressure.

If you have a chance, look into it. Heck, I think you should review “The Room” this Friday as well.

That's Doug's site, and he even posted a video about the situation.

    So anyway, thoughts?

Good reference there sir to the Greater Internet Dickwad Theory.

Though I am not sure how it came up, the person above me brings up an interesting little drama happening in the world of internet commentary and the realm of “Fair Use”. Might be worth a look. Probably not a full video but might be a good “Intermission” topic.

Good work thus far Mr. Bob. I look forward to the next GOT.

    Bob,
    You probably hears this but…

“We're sort of putting a slightly different spin on Steve Rogers,” said Joe Johnston, “He's a guy that wants to serve his country but he's not a flag-waver. We're reinterpretating sort of what the comic book version of Steve Rogers was.”

“He wants to serve his country, but he's not this sort of jingoistic American flag-waver,” Johnston added. “He's just a good person. We make a point of that in the script: Don't change who you are once you go from Steve Rogers to this super-soldier, you have to stay who you are inside, that's really what's important more than your strength and everything. It'll be interesting and fun to put a different spin on the character and one that the fans are really going to appreciate.”

Sounds like Mr. Joe Johnson might not be as proud of his source material as we once, thought. Might have another Bay on our hands? Curious of your thoughts.

So I hear that Joseph Gordon-Levitt may be playing The Riddler in Nolan's next Batman movie.
Doesn't surprise me since Levitt was such a hit in Inception and Nolan loves to stay loyal to his actors.
What do you think Bob? You getting that Heath Ledger feeling about Levitt? cause I am…… MUHAHAHAHA!

    @Scott
    ……
Perfect example of this country's ignorance to except something for entertainment purposes alone.
This little douche bag should NOT be rewarded for breaking the law and burglarizing over 100 homes.
Really don't give two shits that this little brat learned to fly and committed crimes while barefoot.
I just find it particularly sad and disheartening that there are actual Hero's out there with inspiring story's that will never get a movie deal or even a book deal for that matter, just because it didn't get enough news time and “no one will care” but this little shit is looking to make money off of his escapades…… (sigh)

Ignore all the gits above me: you should talk about how Robert Rodriguez is directing the Deadpool movie.

Robert Rodriguez. Deadpool movie. Directing. Is.

Also, you're a talentless hack, Bob. Let it be known.
