Great podcast Bob. I check out The Boys and I'm loving it so far (though it feels about as “aggressively obnoxious” as Wanted). But all I can think of now is how awesome it would be if they made an NC-17 movie with Gerald Butler as Butcher and Simon Pegg as Hughie 🙂

Just a couple of things
1. Have you ever thought about doing a Big Picture about either common misconceptions of superheroes from people who don't read comics or weird fun facts about well known superheros that no one is aware of(like how Wonder Woman is made of clay and all the amazonians are too).
2. I'm not sure if it was you or the other guys but please blow your nose if you are getting stuffed up. It is really gross to hear people snort snot every 10min. or so.
3.PLEASE make a Big Picture about the Superman sex tape,

Wow what an awesome podcast you guy hit on a lot of great topics. You mentioned the DC animated universe, have you seen Young Justice yet? and if so what are your thoughts?

Hey, MovieBob. Awesome and entertaining podcast. I think it's your best Armchair Thinkers ep yet! Oh, and for the record, I'm that “GoldenTalesGeek” guy who was asking about comic continuations of TV shows.
I mostly wanted your feelings on it, because “Farscape” is one of my favorite sci-fi TV shows, and it's been continued in comic book form since 2008 with original creator Rockne S. O'Bannon plotting and writer Keith R.A. DeCandido doing the scripts based on Rockne's plots. Oh, and Rockne made it clear from the start that whatever happens in the comics is canonical to the TV show as well, so that's a relief for me.
Anyway, glad you answered my question. Have a great day! Also, I'm really jazzed to see “Thor”. Even my mom wants to see it, but probably not for the same reasons I want to… XD

Damn these are long. I listened to the first 30 minutes or so, it's good stuff so far!
Has anyone ever tried to restore Superman I and II into the original four-hour scripted version? Or is there just not enough footage to make it work? It's hard to imagine a four-hour superhero film (even Returns dragged a bit at two and a half hours), but it sounds kind of interesting.
