Mario doesn't get the girl, but the douchebag who just hung around the whole time being an annoying dog does?
Yeah, I have no problem with this anime getting lost.

That's a dick move if I ever saw one.
Still, good show.

SPOILERS. The whole structure of this story reminds me of Bone by Jeff Smith: Foreigners from a distant land (that resembles our own world) end up saving the day, the main character has a crush on the girl and, in the end, doesn't get her and they all move on to the next adventure. I know they're diferent, but I can't help feeling the similarities. END OF SPOILERS.

I always heard about this anime, but never knew what it was about, until now. I also see why Peach would never take Mario as a love interest.
Aristocracy > Heroic deeds?
Well, anyway, good call on this, Bob. You should definitely post this on your other blogspot. Very interesting.

Hey people, check out a music video (highly relevant to this site!) that I just released. It's a song from my new musical, “irl (In Real Life.” If any of you live in SoCal, come see it! The video and performance details are here:

Not that I'd watch it after your summary.

I imagine, Landstander, that it would be bad news bears if MovieBob advocated film piracy on his video series that is on a major gaming website, even if it is for a film that has not seen the light of day in America (and from the sounds of it, not even DVD in Japan?)
I might have to have a gathering of friends to watch this…WAIT! My anime-loving nerd friend is getting married this weekend! PERFECT!
