I usually try my best to defend Texas. I spent 2 years in Houston and the people were warm, kind, accepting, and generally tolerant of everything and everyone.

But when people like this decide to make an ass of themselves on a national scale, sometimes I wonder if that tolerance isn't working against them. Seriously, Texas, so being ok with people like this.

    Refusal to deny service?

Doesn't that mean that people want him to deny them service but he refuses and wants to service them anyway?

    It certainly confused me.

Listening to this made me flashback to the antisemitic old man running the Armadillo General Store in Red Dead.

Thankfully, I'll always remember Marston's response to the geezer in case I meet this guy or his kind.

“Have you ever met a Jewish person?”

Despite his familiarity with the law (like all gun store owners must be), this Gun Store owner is just a typical hate-spewing ignorant red-neck bigot, incapable of high arts like wit and satire.

Otherwise he would understand that he cannot know or verify whether an Arab is a Christian or what a customer's voter registration might be.

Mr. Aurelius, clearly you are not familiar with the Rush Limbaugh program (See: weemsco tuna; I wish I could find audio.) I'll take that back. Maybe you are familiar with the caricature of Rush Limbaugh as seen in Media Matters or the “Huffing and Puffington” post.

Last time I checked, it's a free country. He has the right to do whatever he wants. Not like he's going out and killing people. Nice to see all you morons jump on the liberal bandwagon, and attack real americans like this, and defend the terrorists motherfuckers who killed so many people on 9/11. After all, he says he'll tech arabs who are christian and not muslims/terrorists.

You are an idiot. A large one. I've had a bad day and actually you've put a smile on my face with the knowledge I'll never sink to your level. God I hope you're a troll or I might actually worry for you once I've stopped laughing at you.

It's a free country, so why don't you go and punch someone in the street. Can't. Like you can't deny services based on race, AKA racism, that very illegal thing. It's against the law. You're free within the boundaries of the law. So no, he doesn't have a right to do that.

Oh, and the Muslim = Terrorist thing is just so laughable I will go to bed tonight with a smile at the thought of your disappointed Mother.

I like how he said he said he had no shame at the end. You probably wouldn't after saying something as bigoted as that.

It's times like this that I sort of regret living in Texas for a short part of my life… All those days of singing of the praise of Texas, and constantly learning about the proud state's flag, bird, flower, etc., it's all starting to make sense now.

How dare you use that attrocity for your own political ends. How _dare_ you call any of us 9/11 terrorist defenders.

You're one of the most unamerican unpatriotic assholes outthere, shitting all over the grievous loss amongs people of your own nation by turning it into party politics.

Shame on you and on all you stand for.

You know, this advertisement actually makes me happy.

Now, hold on. I can already hear you revving up those whine motors. Just hear me out. I'm gonna take you into the Eye of Terror and bring you right back to the Imperium again.

Consider this fact: 50 years ago, this advertisement would have been just as shocking and unusual, but for very different reasons. 50 years ago, a man owning a business in Texas would NEVER have had to specify which sort of people were not welcome in his shop because everybody already knew who was and who wasn't allowed in his store.

Nowadays, a racist, bigoted asshat like this has to stand up and make himself known because they are no longer in control of the cultural zeitgeist (spirit of the times, yes I fucking know what it means), and feel they have to puff out their chests and strut around to be heard.

You never heard this sort of thing 50 years ago. Why? Because it was taken as rote that such things were just the way it was. So it makes me happy that douchenozzles like this are so marginalized that they feel they have to basically hold their breath until someone notices them.

I just love how they always say it “Arob” and call them “moslims”, plus, bringing in gold silver or used guns? Awesome.

I also find it amusing how he actually payed for 26 Seconds of airtime to spout his bigotry instead of actually sending out more ads.

yea, arabs opt for the whole bomb trigger thing over a gun. so much more effective.

    ZING!

lol lived in midland my entire life- town of george bush. really the best way to describe texans is to say that we are all former ranchers that picked up baptist christinaity cuz it made us look cool and feel better about bein such dickwads. other than pedos and rapists, we are pretty tolerant of all sins, even intolerance and murder.

*I mean a typical texan, not texas legislature. I've still yet to meet a single texan who things marijuana laws are justified, for example. We are not intellectuals, we have no interest in cerebral education and simply wanna have a good time, hit on chicks, and make some moola. basicly, texas fucking rocks!

plus we WERE our own state and produce more oil and energy than any other state in america

plus a lot of us are reformed racist- we still feel guilty about that whole black thing

and since I'm a chink, everyone assumes I'm jackie chan and can do math!

I'm rolling my eyes so much that they are in danger of completely falling out of their sockets.

I such be shocked, but I'm just so freaking jaded that I'm just not surprised anymore. (Quite frankly, this depresses me a great deal.)

Crocket Keller, is that your name in the video? Nabisco called. They want their crackers back.

Wish I could say Im suprised, but as a former texan, yeah, no, not surprised.

Honestly, I'm as pro second amendment as they get, and usually pretty low key when it comes to politics other wise, but this is just silly.

The irony, is that he actually can, as a bussiness owner, refuse service to those he choses, and in texas, I doubt anyone will call him on it. He just is using it to make a political statement.

Hell, he's probably got a 20 percent sales boost already.

Honestly, as much as this guy may be an ass and a jerk, this is hardly something to get worked up about.

There are far bigger things going on in the world then this guy and his piddly little statements
