I would add Summer Wars to the list of arty action movies (though the action takes a while to get started, and mostly takes place in an MMORPG).

Also, I'd remove Curse of the Golden Flower, which didn't have a single character arc or journey that wasn't negated by the godawful ending.

Bashing on the Frank Miller, eh? Somebody's pissy because of that OWS blog post of his… never mind Bob's usual impetuous ignorance, Immortals got shitcanned by critics nearly as badly as the Green Lantern film. Don't see it.

Oh, and Stephen Dorff? Holy shit, I haven't heard that name since Blade. Now THERE's some nerd trivia for ya 😉

Having just seen this movie I can easily say it is a puddle of piss. It is a REALLY bad movie, and Bob, your account of the contents of the film couldn't be more inaccurate.

Jesus Christ, what a shitty movie. It literally is almost as bad as Green Lantern, and is easily the worst portrayal of Greek mythology ever to be shown on film.

I had a descent enough time with this flick. It has some serious pacing issues, but just as I was getting the most bored, a god would show up and heads would start exploding in the most fantastic manner. Not all that memorable flick in the long run, but it delivered on my modest expectations.

And it was a damn sight better than Clash of the Titans '10.
