Ontopic: Trailer makes me think of Azumi, asian period films with 'regular' people, instead of the powerfull ones from Crouching Tiger etc. (not that there's anything wrong with that either). Always kind of makes me wonder how accurate these films are. Great to see a world see different from our own (western european).
Now about that, why aren't there any kickass Knight movies, without poetic, pretentious emo lead characters? Say, a Medieaval Iron Man? That would just be awesome.
I just watched seven samurai a few months ago and this reminds me of it. I do get the impression this is a Japanese samurai version of the Expendables (haven't seen that one.) but that's how it comes off to me. At least this one is R and looks like a promise of blood and noble sacrifice. My favorite kind of action movie.
