I LOVED Warriors of the Wind as a kid. I watched it all the time. Imagine my surprise on the re-release and re-dubbing that the story was COMPREHENSIBLE. OH so THAT's why that guy did that thing.
This looks freking awesome apart from the actual characters and the “episode-comilation” factor. I think the fact that they're siblings makes it even better because I'm a fan of transgressive plot setups, not just ridiculous schi-fi plot setups. I probably wouldn't actually watch it with my family (more because the brother seems like a controlling asshole) but I'd definitely give it a go for at least one episode.
For someone who supposedly is so immersed in geek culture, you seemed pretty hung up on the incest. Yeah it's fucked up, but it's also not all that uncommon in anime…like, AT ALL. Figured for someone with such a hard on for da east, you'd have encountered something like this already.
