     And make her Wonder Woman’s father, sort of like how Mystique was originally supposed to be Nightcrawler’s father? I mean if Zeus can turn himself into a swan to fuck…

       And then it’s a superhero with a mommy issue instead of a daddy issue. That may seam like a distinction without a difference, but it does refocus the themes and motifs to a more woman-entered narrative. Also, some industries need to take baby steps when addressing things like gender diversity.
