I personally love the idea of “a” devil, but not “The” devil.

A devil would be one of Satan minions out to spread chaos in the world for own entertainment.
Also, what I think is important in a devil story but this movie totally missed. (yeah I saw it) Is that a devil in my mind is out to corrupt the good people. Out to steal Gods little lambs away from him by corrupting them so they end up in hell instead of heaven. what the freak its the point of a devil to walk around killing bad people? I mean, if they don't redeem them self in life, by logic they go straight to hell as soon as they die anyway. doesn't it make more sense to try and corrupt??? and doesn't that to make for more interesting stories about temptation and corruption in human nature..

I dunno, I am not even a Christian.

haha, Well Doctor who have in all cases at least that going for it that its pure fun adventure that goes for totally classy ride adventures, so they can totally go with these cheesy plots and make it work as it is just meant to be so much fun, which it is. its fun 🙂

Yeah the “Smart” cuniving schemeing devil th one that lures and manioulates and tempts has always been a pretty intresting character. The dumb devil the one that goes, LUCIFER ANGRY LUCIFER SMASH! is just ridiculous. Besides why would the devil kill bad people? If anything he'd leave them alone so they could do more bad and kill GOOD people. That is after trying and failing to turn them to the dark side *insert imperial march theme*

I agree with Funky Al. That “Doctor Who” 2-parter is spectacular. Even a few of my hardcore Christian friends who weren't the least bit into sci-fi enjoyed it, and that's saying something.

Hey Bob I loved that last Vegeta reference what are the odds that one day you might devout an entire episode to Dragon Ball Z. I know you probably have more pressing matters but a guy can dream right.

You tell us to not hate the movie based on M. Night's tangential involvement, but then you go right out and say this movie partakes in all the themes of his movies, while being idiotic.

There is no doubt in my mind that M. Night had his disgusting fingers in this movie more than just “producer” and whatnot. And we all know what happens when M. Night is given a movie now.

    Other than that, I agree.
